Abstract

An organic EL device () includes an anode (), a cathode () and an organic thin-film layer () provided between the anode () and the cathode (). The organic thin-film layer () includes a single-layered mixed-color emitting layer () for providing mixed-color emission. The mixed-color emitting layer () contains a host, a fluorescent dopant for blue fluorescent emission and a phosphorescent dopant for red or green phosphorescent emission.
