Abstract

A protective screen assembly () for a fan includes a cover part () having an air passage opening () and a protective screen (). In the area of the passage opening (), the protective screen () is connected to the cover part () via detent connections () distributed over the circumference so as to close the passage opening as protection against contact. Each detent connection () includes a detent shoulder () in the passage opening () and a detent element () on the protective screen (). In the area of each detent element () at the outer edge of the protective screen (), the protective screen () is resiliently deformable such that each detent element (), for engaging and disengaging the detent connection (), can be moved radially relative to the related detent shoulder (), regionally deforming the protective screen ().
