Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel process for preparing acetanilides of the formula (I) by reacting a 2-halo-N-halomethylacetanilide of the formula (II) with an azole of the formula (III)H-A  (III)wherein the substituents R, R, R, R, R, A, X and Xin the formulae (I), (II) and (III) have the meanings as indicated in the description.
