Abstract
The invention relates to an electromagnetic transfer system () having a preferably closed carrier path (), along which a multiplicity of individually activatable induction coils () are arranged, and having conveying elements (to), which are arranged in a movable manner on the carrier path () and each have a driver element (), which serves for conveying in each case at least one article () from a first conveying arrangement (), along a conveying route () in the region of the transfer system (), into a second conveying arrangement () arranged downstream, wherein the driver elements () are in abutting contact with the at least one article () at least along the conveying route (), and wherein the conveying element (to) has, as drive element, at least one permanent-magnet element () arranged in operative connection with the induction coils (). According to the invention, it is provided that the driver element () is arranged on the conveying element (to) such that it can be moved, in particular pivoted, in order to be brought into abutting contact with, and removed from abutting contact with, the at least one article (), wherein the driver element () is moved by at least one actuating element () arranged at a fixed location on the carrier path ().
