Abstract

A first communication station connects to a higher-order station or a lower-order station in a communication path of multi-hop wireless communication, and performs wireless communication with a mobile terminal in an access area in predetermined wireless resources that differs from a relay area used for wireless communication with the higher-order station or the lower-order station in the wireless resources. A second communication station that constitutes a communication path different from the foregoing communication path of multi-hop wireless communication and that can use wireless resources to perform wireless communication with a mobile terminal acquires information indicating the relay area in the wireless resources.
