Abstract
A method for managing storage of data objects in a peer-to-peer system including a plurality of peer entities is provided. For each data object to be stored into the peer-to-peer system, the method including establishing a group of peer entities so that the group meets a stability requirement according to predetermined stability rules, storing the data object into each peer entity of the group, and each peer entity of the group generating and maintaining a group list associated with the data object, which includes the peer entities of the group.
