Abstract
The present invention provides, inter alia, a herbicidal composition comprising: (i) a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibiting herbicide selected from the group consisting flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, butafenacil and a diphenyl ether selected from the group consisting of acifluorfen (including aciflurofen-sodium), fomesafen (including fomesafen-sodium), lactofen and oxyfluorfen; or an agronomically acceptable salt of said herbicide; and (ii) a safener of Formula (II) or an agronomically acceptable salt of said compound, wherein: —Ris selected from the group consisting of halogen, nitro, C-Calkyl, C-Chaloalkyl, C-Chaloalkoxy, C-Ccycloalkyl, phenyl, C-Calkoxy, cyano, C-Calkylthio, C-Calkylsulfinyl, C-Calkylsulfonyl, C-Calkoxycarbonyl and C-Calkylcarbonyl; and Rand Rare independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C-Calkyl, C-Ccycloalkyl, C-Calkenyl and C-Calkynyl.
