Abstract

Provided is a method for producing a rice F1 seed including crossing a rice male sterile line of Koshihikari containing one or more genes selected from the group consisting of the Pb1 gene derived from a rice (L) cultivar Modan and the Cr1 gene derived from, as a seed parent, with a rice fertility restorer line as a pollen parent, and collecting the first filial generation seed (F1 seed) from the post-crossing seed parent; a rice F1 seed which is obtained by the above-described method for producing a rice F1 seed; and a rice cytoplasmic male sterile line including one or more genes selected from the group consisting of the Pb1 gene derived from rice (L) cuitibar Modan, and the Cr1 gene derived from
