Abstract
The invention relates to an electric drive device () comprising an electric motor () with a stator () and a rotor () arranged to rotate a drive shaft (), a housing () in which the electric motor () is housed, which housing has an essentially ring shaped cross section with an imaginary center axle (X), wherein the electric motor () is eccentrically arranged in the housing () in such a way that the rotational center of the drive shaft () of the electric motor () runs essentially parallel to and at a distance from the center axle of the housing () so as to form a desired space () between the electric motor and said housing. The invention also relates to motor vehicle with an electric drive device.
