Abstract
A removal tool () for a tire removing machine (), for taking off a tire () from a respective wheel rim (), comprises an elongate body () having a first end () which is connectable to a supporting arm () and a second, hook-shaped end () for grasping a bead () of the tire (); the second end () of the tool () has a fingernail shaped member () which is movable from a first operating configuration, where it projects in cantilever fashion from the body () to define the hooked shape, to a second operating configuration, where it is tucked in a lateral zone of the body (), to give the tool () a hookless shape, and vice versa.
