The invention relates to a protective circuit () in a screen wiper drive (), consisting of a parallel circuit having two circuit elements (), wherein one circuit element () consists of a capacitor () and the other circuit element () consists of a series-connection of a diode () and a Zener diode (), wherein the forward direction of the diode () and the Zener diode () is different and the Zener diode () inhibits in the direction of a plus pole.
