Abstract

A device including a plurality of disconnected ballast elements () for a pipe (). Each ballast element () has a lower surface () to be laid at the bottom () of a body of water () and an upper surface () delimiting at least one concave trough () for supporting the pipe (A,B). A top cover () for protecting the pipe and connecting at least two disconnected ballast elements () so as to cover the pipe (A,B) between the ballast elements (). The cover () extends opposite the trough () and delimits, together with the upper surfaces () of each ballast element (), a passage for receiving the pipe (A,B).
