When a key of the numeric keypad displayed on the key display unitis pressed, the control unitmeasures the time for which the key is kept pressed long with a timerand updates characters assigned to the key one by one by regarding that the key is pressed once each time a predetermined period of time passes while the key is kept pressed long, and then displays each character on the display unit. Further, the control unitnotifies a vibration unitof the timing of updating the character each time the predetermined time passes while the key is kept pressed long. The vibration unitvibrates the touch panelbased on the timing of updating the character notified by the control unit.
