Abstract
A recording apparatus that continuously vary a first boundary formed by different discharge port arrays in an area on a recording medium corresponding to a first overlap portion, and a second boundary formed by different discharge port arrays on an area of the recording medium corresponding to a second overlap portion close to the first overlap portion, wherein a shape of the variation of the first boundary and a shape of the variation of the second boundary are different from each other.
