Abstract
An inter-frame gap controllerincludes an inter-frame gap length determinerthat determines the length of inter-frame gap based on traffic volume of Ethernet frames which are converted to synchronous frames and transmitted over synchronous network, and a gap inserterthat inserts the inter-frame gap of the length determined by the inter-frame gap length determinerbetween Ethernet frames which are converted from the synchronous frames.
