Abstract

The window for a building structure has a window frame (), a sash () and a pane () including at least one sheet of glass or other glazing material. The sash () is moveable relative to the frame () by means of a hinge connection including a set of frame hinge parts () and a set of sash hinge parts (). The sash () carrying the pane () includes at least a first element () surrounding the pane () and formed as a moulded border element which at least partially encases an edge of the pane (). The first element () has at least one functional face to which the set of sash hinge parts () of the hinge connection is adapted to be connected. The sash () may include further elements () for insulating, covering and/or aesthetical purposes.
