Abstract
The invention relates to a surgical implant (), and in particular, to a surgical implant for stabilizing a bone fracture (). The surgical implant () comprising a plate () and an elongate member () projecting from the plate (). The elongate member () is provided for insertion into a bone () and the plate () is provided for attachment to a surface of a bone (). Each of the elongate member () and the plate () are provided with at least one fastening region for fastening the surgical implant () to the bone ().
