Abstract

A connecting apparatus for transmitting high-voltage current in a motor vehicle has a first connection element (), a second connection element (), a shielding housing () and fasteners (). The first connection element () has a housing () having a first insulating housing (), a first contact () connected electrically to an internal conductor () of a cable (), and a shielding arrangement () connected to a shield () of the cable (). The shielding arrangement () is connected to the shielding housing () by a shielding part (). The second connection element () has a second housing () having a second insulating housing part () with a second contact element () connected to a current line element. A weak-current contact arrangement creates a control circuit, and has a ring contact () and two spring contacts ().
