Abstract

A lens holder () has: a lens holding section (), which elastically holds a flange () of a lens (); a section to be pressed (), which is positioned to surround the lens holding section (), and is fixed to a substrate () by being pressed to the substrate by means of a holder fixing means (); and connecting sections (), which partially connect to each other the lens holding section () and the section to be pressed (). The height of the section to be pressed () from the substrate () is more than the height of the lens holding section () from the substrate (), and the lens holding section () is not in contact with the holder fixing means ().
