Abstract
A playback speed control apparatus, which controls play-back speed according to rotation of an operation unit () that is rotatable, includes: a rotation speed detection unit () that detects rotation speed of the operation unit; and a control () unit that controls the playback speed according to the rotation speed detected by the rotation speed detection unit, in which the control unit either increases or decreases the playback speed according to a recursive pattern of the rotation speed detected by the rotation speed detection unit.
