Abstract
A method performed by a physical computing system for determining a layout of graphic objects () according to a layout density map () includes generating the layout density map (), the layout density map () having low density regions () and high density regions (); providing a set of candidate locations () within the layout density map (), a number of the candidate locations () being equal to a number of the graphic objects (), the candidate locations () being arranged away from the low density regions () and from other the candidate locations (); and overlaying the layout density map () with the graphic objects (), each graphic object () being disposed at one of the candidate locations ().
