Abstract
A method and apparatus for mounting electronic components on an antenna structure includes at least one conductive antenna element, an insulating layerdisposed on the antenna element, at least one electronic componentdisposed on the insulating layer, and at least one electrical tracedisposed on the insulating layerand connecting to the at least one electronic component. The trace follows contours of the antenna structure, such that the trace and component are electrically isolated from the antenna element.
