A dual end glycerol (meth)acrylate-modified silicone having formula (I): RMeSiO(RSiO)SiMeRis novel. Ris a mixture of 70-95 mol % of a group having formula (i) and 30-5 mol % of a group having formula (ii) wherein Ris H or methyl, Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group which may be halogenated, Me stands for methyl, and a is an integer of 10-300.
