Abstract
Adhesive tape consisting of a carrier having a top face and a bottom face, an adhesive layer and a liner, the carrier having a width Bbased on the transverse direction, and also of an adhesive layer applied on the bottom face of the carrier, characterized in that applied on the open side of the adhesive layer is a sheetlike liner having a transverse-direction-based width B, which is greater than or equal to the width B, the liner having an offset relative to the carrier in transverse direction, with a width B.
