Abstract

A gripper () for gripping an object (), intended for a transfer device includes two jaws (). Each of the jaws includes: a recess (), and a first clamping portion () and a second locking portion (). The first clamping portion () of each jaw () of the gripper () includes a supporting surface and, when the gripper () is closed around an object () occupying a predetermined reference position, the supporting surface is intended to engage with a portion of a bearing surface of a radial collar of the object.
