Abstract
In a wireless communication device (), adjustment means (matching controlling means ()) changes a reactance of a matching section (), determination means (calculation means (), matching controlling means ()) determines whether a resonance frequency of an antenna () exists on a side higher than or lower than the operation frequency of the antenna () on the basis of a change in an intensity of a signal, which change is caused by a change in the reactance and is detected by a signal intensity detection section (), and the adjustment means adjusts the reactance so that the resonance frequency is closer to the operation frequency on the basis of a result of determination of the determination means.
