Abstract

The invention relates to a rotary-anode X-ray tube which includes a sleeve bearing having an axial bearing section and a radial bearing section. Furthermore, radial sealing sections () are provided in an outer bearing member () which have no functional relation to the axial bearing surfaces () of the axial bearing section. Thus, additional sealing principles like gaskets or sealing edges can be used although this may result in degradation of surface parallelism.
