Abstract
An exemplary image capture deviceincludes: an image capturing sectionconfigured to generate an image based on a subject image formed; a first sensorconfigured to detect acceleration of gravity on the deviceitself to output a first detection signal; a second sensorconfigured to detect a variation in the device's own attitude to output a second detection signal; and a processorconfigured to calculate a first magnitude of correction based on a frequency component in the first detection signal, which is equal to or lower than a first frequency, configured to calculate a second magnitude of correction based on a frequency component in the second detection signal, which is equal to or higher than a second frequency, and configured to correct, based on the calculated first and second magnitudes of correction, tilt of at least one of the subject image and the image.
