Abstract

The emission strength of a light released from a blue light-emitting phosphor having a merwinite crystal structure and an elemental formula of (Sr,Ca)MgSiOactivated with Eu in which a molar ratio of Sr and Ca is in the range of 1:0.10 to 1:0.30 is stable in a wide temperature range.
