Abstract
The present invention relates to a sampling plate. In particular the invention relates to a sampling plate for measuring certain selected properties of a liquid sample, such as the glucose levels in a blood sample. Sampling plates of the present invention have a sample zone () for receiving a liquid sample and an overflow reservoir () linked to the sample zone () via an overflow channel (), so that excess blood sample can be redirected away from the sample zone () and contained.
