Abstract

In airless spray tip assemblyshown in FIG., cylindercontains tipand is at one end of dead zone. Shutoffis comprised of balland seat. The needle seathas been mated to each tip assembly(See FIG.). By mating the tipand the seat assembly (shutoff)into one, the sealcan be moved out of the 'dead zone'thus reducing spit volume and energy storage.
