Abstract
In flue-gas desulfurization equipment, in order to gypsumize sulfur dioxide in a byproduct at approximately 100% and to make desulfurization rate approximately 100%, the flue-gas desulfurization equipment () according to the present invention is provided with a basket-shaped rotation cylinder () arranged in the fixing duct () in a state of being supported rotatably around a horizontal shaft (), a rotation packed bed () formed by filling fillers for gas-liquid contact in the basket-shaped rotation cylinder (), a slurry storage tank () having plural communication storage sections () located below the rotation packed bed () and divided by separation plates () each of which has a communication part (), and slurry spraying means () which are provided corresponding to the plural communication storage sections () and which spray the absorbent slurry extracted from the corresponding communication storage sections () to upper parts of the communication storage section () in the rotation packed bed () respectively.
