Abstract
A derailleur, for moving a chainto different sized sprockets arranged small to large in a sprocket nestis disclosed. The derailleurhas a pivot guide feed armfor directing the chainonto one of multiple sprockets within the sprocket nest. The pivot guide feed armis rotatably mounted at a pivot end on an angular pivot pinand when the pivot guide feed armrotates about the pivot pinan opposite chain guide end of the pivot guide feed armtraces a path substantially parallel to a tangent to the outer periphery of the sprocket nest. The movement of the pivot guide feed armis mechanically driven by a user command and is preferably moved by a connected rod or wire or cable
