Abstract
There are provided an organic-inorganic composite having a high refractive index and a low Abbe number in which metal oxide particles of at least one type is added to a polymer containing a repeating unit having the general formula (1) described in Claim, and a molded product and an optical element made of the organic-inorganic composite. In the general formula (1), R1 and R2 independently denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 or more and 6 or less carbon atoms, and Q denotes an oxyethylene group, a thioethylene group, or a single bond.
