Abstract
The backlight deviceaccording to the present invention is provided with: an LED substrate; an LED light source; a light guide platehaving a light entrance surfaceon a side surface; a chassishaving a bottom plate and a side plate; and spacer members that regulate the distance between the side plate and the light guide plate. The side plate has three first side platesandon the surface of which an LED substrateis arranged, and one second side plateon the surface of which the LED substrateis not arranged. The spacer members have an elastic spacer memberand a non-elastic spacer member. The space between the first side platethat is opposite the second side plate, across the light guide plate, and the light guide plateis regulated by the non-elastic spacer member.
