Abstract

A flexible hose () has at least two textile reinforcement inlays or inserts () and an inner layer () made of elastomeric material. The flexible hose can assume various curvature geometries and, on the other hand, is still pressure-resistant because a textile reinforcement inlay () made of a peripherally closed, tubular knitted or woven fabric is applied to the elastomeric inner layer (). A textile layer (), which is rubber-coated on both sides, is wound as a further textile reinforcement inlay onto the tubular knitted or woven fabric ().
