Abstract

The present invention relates to a compact fan, comprising a fan wheel, in particular a radial fan wheel (), which is fastened on a rotor of an external rotor motor (). The fan wheel () is supported between a front plate () having an air inlet opening (), which is central, and a motor mount (). The front plate () and the motor mount () are connected to one another via multiple spacers (), which are disposed around the circumference. The front plate () and the motor mount () are formed as plastic or metal spray parts. The spacers () are formed as plastic or metal parts entirely or partially in one piece to the front plate () and/or the motor mount ().
