Abstract

A notch antenna () in accordance with the present invention includes: a conductor plate () divided into an inner region () and an outer region () by a notch (); and a shortening capacitor () that bridges the inner region () and the outer region (). This makes it possible to reduce the total length of the notch () to less than λ/4 where λ is a resonant wavelength of the notch antenna ().
