Abstract

Disc brake piston cap () interposed between the caliper () and the piston () to protect the piston (). The cap () has a bulge () on the inner fold () which is engaged in the groove () of the piston (), and has an overmolded insert () fixed to the annular groove () of the caliper. The folded cap (), with the overmolded insert (), intermediate folds () and an outer fold (), comprises longitudinal ribs () on the face of the inner fold () to stiffen this fold and allow air to pass from the inside to the outside around the bulge () of the inner fold (), housed in the groove ().
