Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel crystalline anhydrous form of [(5-chlorothiophene-2-ylsulfonylcarbamoyl)-(4-(6-fluoro-7-(methylamino)-2,4-dioxo-1,2-dihydroquinazolin-3(4H)-yl)phenyl)amide, potassium salt, and its use in the treatment or prevention of a condition or a disorder with platelet ADP receptor inhibition, in particular, P2Yinhibition, in animals, particularly humans. It also relates processes for making such a novel crystalline form. The present invention also relates to a solid, oral formulation of this novel crystalline form, its preparation and use thereof.
