Abstract

The invention relates to an implant () or prosthesis for treating a genital prolapse, characterized in that it comprises a support portion (), which has been preformed with a hollow shape in order to match the shape of an organ that is to be supported, and one or more bearing portions (), which extend away from the support portion () so as to bear on bone or ligament structures in order to stabilize the implant.
