Abstract
The invention relates to an ink jet device and to an associated method. Said device () comprises a chamber () comprising at least one ink jet head (), an inlet () for a gas having a lower molar mass than air, and at least one outlet () for said gas, said head () being arranged in the chamber () in such a way that the gas can be injected around the head () and removed from the chamber along with the ink supplied by the head.
