Abstract
It is possible to provide a radio communication terminal and a communication control method which can reduce the time of a out-of-cell state and perform reselection while continuing a wait operation. A mobile telephone () includes: a main communication unit () which transmits and receives a signal to/from one of communication systems via a main antenna (); a sub communication unit () which receives a signal from one of the communication systems via a sub antenna (); and a CPU () which switches the communication system to be used by the main communication unit () and the sub communication unit (). When performing a predetermined process for selecting and capturing a priority system while the main communication unit () is waiting for a non-priority system, the sub communication unit () waits for the non-priority system and the main communication unit () captures the priority system.
