Abstract
Provided is a method of treating a hydrocarbon-contaminated soil/gravel with a blend of microbes by adding a first microbe selected from the group consisting ofstrain IOCX,strain IOC DHT and mixtures thereof to a hydrocarbon-contaminated soil/gravel to release the hydrocarbon; and adding a second microbe selected from the group consisting ofstrain IOC5al,strain IOCRl,and a mixture thereof to degrade the released hydrocarbon.
