A lubricant containing a compound (A) comprising a perfluoropolyether having a main-chain structure of the formula (1) and having a polar group at each of opposite terminals thereof, and a compound (B) comprising a perfluoropolyether having a main-chain structure of the formula (1) and having a nonpolar group at at least one terminal thereof—(CFCFCFO)-  (1)wherein a is a real number of 5 to 30.
