Abstract
A rolling-element bearing includes a first bearing ring () and a second bearing ring () opposing the first bearing () in a radial direction (). A sealing element () of the rolling-element bearing includes a radially-encircling seal support () extending in the radial direction () by a predetermined distance towards the second bearing ring (). The seal support () is interference-fit and removably attached to an axial end side () of the first bearing ring (). A sealing lip () is attached to the seal support () and extends from an end of the seal support () opposite the first bearing ring () in the radial direction () up to a mating surface (), which is part of the second bearing ring ().
