Abstract
A sliding bearinghas a sliding surfacein sliding contact with an outer peripheral surface of a crankshaft(rotating shaft) and a relief portionformed along a circumferential direction on both axial end portions of the sliding surfaceand retreated outward in a radial direction from the sliding surface
