Abstract

A device () for variably adjusting the control times of gas exchange valves () of an internal combustion engine (), including an input drive element (), an output drive element (), and at least one side cover (), wherein the input drive element () can be brought into driven connection with a crankshaft () of the internal combustion engine (), the output drive element () can be brought into driving connection with a camshaft () of the internal combustion engine () and is pivotally mounted relative to the input drive element (). The side cover () is mounted on an axial side surface of the output drive element () or of the input drive element () and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the input drive element () or the output drive element (). A spring element () is mounted on the side of the side cover facing away from the input and output drive elements (), and the side cover () has a disk-shaped section (), from which several fastening elements () protrude in the axial direction, the fastening elements being mounted on the side of the side cover () facing away from the input drive element ().
