Abstract
This display device () includes a display panel () including a substrate mounting member () covering a backlight source () and a cover member () arranged to partially cover the rear surface of the substrate mounting member and to expose a region in the periphery of at least an outer peripheral portion () of the rear surface of the substrate mounting member. The substrate mounting member has a side surface portion (), while a corner portion () of the outer peripheral portion formed by the side surface portion of the substrate mounting member has such a shape that adjacent ones of the side surface portion are bonded to each other without a clearance.
