Abstract
A sample analyzer comprising: a container set section in which a reagent container can be set which contains a reagent to be used in a sample analysis; a cover capable of making the container set section be in an open state and a closed state; a locking mechanism capable of permitting and prohibiting a closing of the cover; and a controller that controls the permission and prohibition of the closing of the cover by the locking mechanism.
